Government Cavity Wall Insulation Grants
There are numerous grants available out there, including a Government funded scheme. However - a little known fact is the UK's leading utility companies have been legislated to reduce CO2 emissions by the Government. They have therefore made grant funding available throughout the country to achieve this aim.
In order to balance their books, they have of course levied our utility bills, so in effect, we are paying for the insulation anyway - so doesn't it make sense to get what you have already paid for?
These grants are also 100% funded and free of charge (except perhaps a cup of tea for the workmen!). There is no need for you to get involved with applying; the installing firm will do all this for you - including claiming the funding upon completion.

- Are over the age of 70
- Council Tax Benefit
- Housing Benefit
- Income Support
- Income Based Jobseekers Allowance
- Attendance Allowance
- Disability Living Allowance
- War Disablement Pension*
- Income related employment and support allowance
- Working Tax credit**
- Pension Credit
- Child Tax Credit*
* Income must be less than £16,190 per year.
** Must include a mobility supplement or constant support allowance.
